She's upset for Britney Spears.
Says Page:
“It definitely happens to some people and it doesn’t to others. It’s really unfortunate - I wish there was more compassion for those people versus just relentless judgments. It’s sickening.
“I feel bad, you know - they were hyper-sexualised at the age of 16, not guided or taken care of or nurtured properly. And now people treat it like it’s a joke. Let’s splatter their face on newspapers every day and show them being taken out of their house on a stretcher! It’s like, why don’t we ask why this is happening? It makes me very angry.”
Britney Spears is unable of making decisions for herself, a Los Angeles court determined on Monday.
The judge extended the conservatorship of the currently sick-y-poo pop star until February 14th.
From now until then, Spears' dad, Jamie, makes all decisions when it comes to the pop star's life. He's in charge, and so is a court-appointed attorney.
The also appointed a doctor to assess Spears' mental state. Their medical report will be turned in to the court by February 13th, and that will inform any ruling on Valentine's Day.
Hopefully, being forced to take her meds for 3 weeks will bring her some peace and quiet.
Amen!
