This ought to be good...

President George W. Bush travels to Africa in February 2008, his second trip to the continent while in office (the first was in 2003). Notably, the five-country itinerary does not include any of the conflict-ridden states on the continent such as Sudan, Somalia, or the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Let's take a vote: what absolutely offensive and retarded remark will Bush make while speaking to our African brothers and sisters? Here's just a few. Please add your own:

1. Do y'all like chitlins? I love me some chitlins.
2. I used to watch The Cosby Show every week. That Dr. Huxtable...what a riot!
3. Although I don't speak African, I do understand most Snoop Dogg songs. They have quite a good beat to them.
4. Have y'all met Condi? She's a smart lady...
5. I support celebrating Kwanzaa. We even have a large menora that we put on the White House lawn at Christmas time.

So sad.

I totally loved this girl.

Lily Allen spent ALL DAY on Vajayjay Day drinking: hitting the Vivienne Westwood fashion show, the Mulberry party and stumbling out of Punk nightclub early this morning, amongst some of the highlights.

Bummer. She's cute as hell and funny. The FAME DRUG has no mercy y'all.

I can't take this...

Earlier this week it was a junior high in Oxnard California. Yesterday it was a University in Illinois.

So what will it take?

How many innocent people have to die before some old white Republicans get the idea that our "right to bear arms" does NOT work in our current society? That was written centuries ago, when we had 13 colonies and less than the population of Rhode Island living in the entire country.

No, it is NOT the right of every person to own a killing machine. It IS, however, the right of every person to feel safe in schools, neighborhoods, Wal-Marts.

If one more completely brain dead rich white man says "Guns don't kill people, people kill people," I think that man should be put on trial for accomplice to murder.
